First Visit - Fabulous lunch Small menu but we fancied everything on it. Beautifully cooked and presented food. Picture on a plate. Great attention to flavour and detail. Excellent and friendly service. This may have our first visit but it wont be our last.

Wedding anniversary celebration meal which was heavenly. Unusual combinations of flavours which all worked beautifully. Service was excellent. I would highly recommend Clays.

Maharaja Indian

33 High St, Madeley, Telford TF7 5AR, UK – 01952 580847

I was getting fed up of bland Indian takeaway food but my last 5 visits , sit down and takeaway, have been 5 star at the Maharajah. Flavours have been fantastic and match the presentation at a reasonable price. What ever your doing please keep it up and I for one will be a regular

My friends took me here whilst staying nearby. Very pleasant restaurant, service good and prompt. Menu presented dishes I hadn't seen in our NE restaurants. Don't think it was too expensive...I didn't pay!😁

La Casita

33A High St, Ironbridge, Telford TF8 7AG, UK – 01952 432058

Quirky, charming, limited menu but all offered are interesting by convivial owner and server, Spanish chef speaks no English but makes interesting tapas. Could be a little spicier. Nice selection of gins but we soon emptied the available bottles

Decent quality, however the food isn't quite my style. I have most things a try and liked most of them. If you like Spanish food it's great.

The White Hart Restaurant & Cafe Bar

10 Wharfage, Ironbridge, Telford TF8 7AW, UK – 01952 432901

The staff here were so helpful sorting a menu for my wife who is gluten and lactose intolerant. My "standard" meal was also very good. Very tasty food and good beer. Thanks .

Staff were genuine, pleasant and accommodating when we called to book for a Fri eve meal. The pub is tastefully decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere. We were extremely impressed with the menu choices and when our meals arrived, we were pleased to find the food well executed and as enjoyable as the menu had promised. There was a good and reasonably priced wine list as well as menu choices for our toddler that included; but also extended beyond, the usual '' X & chips" children's fare. Staff were attentive but very relaxed and friendly. Our meal worked out marginally more expensive than its nearest local competitor, where we dined on the Saturday eve, but the overall quality was immeasurably better! We returned on Sun evening for the Sunday lunch menu and again were impressed. Would recommend without hesitation and would happily return.

Madeley Chinese takeaway

35 High St, Madeley, Telford TF7 5AS, UK – 01952 582466

Beautiful food. Not overly greasy like other local takeaways. Chicken is always done to perfection. The lady who serves is absolutely lovely. Won't use anyone else now. My 5 year old is a very fussy eater but loves the food from here. Our kids have loved the lollipops they have been given too. Lovely place. 100% recommend over other takeaway's around here.

Best tasting Chinese takeaway I've had for a while. They do not deliver, but it's worth the effort to go and collect. Very tasty food. Recommended

Broseley Vegetarian or Vegan Restaurants

The King & Thai

Broseley TF12 5DL, UK – 01952 882004

Excellent, fresh and plentiful food. Courteous, attentive staff, where nothing is too much. Will return. Again.

Wonderful food, warm attentive service, all at a very reasonable price. We'd been looking to eat here for a long time, and got the chance last night. The food was exceptional. In particular the bbq ribs, and the stir fired beef were exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this restaurant to anyone.

Ladywood, Ironbridge, Ironbidge TF8 7JU, UK – 01952 884499

Wonderful meal in a beautiful restaurant. The menu was great, wine selection - perfect. The service was also outstanding. A great evening.

I went here for a birth day meal. It's a lovely cosy gastro pub. Staff are very friendly and helpful, food is excellent, definitely recommended

Madebrook House

Bridgnorth Rd, Telford TF7 4JF, UK – 01952 872334

Great value especially if you go for the daytime carvery. Nice food - can't go wrong. Very pleasant staff. Always stop when in the area

Carvery not as good as it used to be. The meat is cut wafer thin and veg are mostly frozen. Would be nice to have some swede, parsnips and green cabbage .. Instead of peas sweetcorn and carrots !
